While promoting his book, The Algebra of Wealth: A Simple Formula for Financial Security, Professor Scott Galloway posted an inflation adjusted image for the average salary, average college costs, and average home prices for each generation by age 25. From his analysis, Professor Galloway found that young adults were making almost $20,000 less than their parents and grandparents at the same age. According to Professor Galloway, "for the first time in our nation's history, a 30-year-old man or woman isn't doing as well as his or her parents were at age 30."
